Signs You Have Wasps & Hornets
By late summer, a wasp colony that started with one queen can hold thousands of aggressive defenders. Nests in eaves, decks, sheds and especially inside wall voids are dangerous to treat yourself. We remove them safely with proper equipment.
How We Treat It
Inspect & Identify
We confirm the pest, find where it’s getting in, and assess how far the problem has spread.
Targeted Treatment
We treat and remove the nest with professional equipment and protective gear, then dust void nests so returning foragers are eliminated too.
Seal & Prevent
We close entry points and correct the conditions that attracted the pest in the first place.
Follow Up & Guarantee
We check that the treatment worked. If the pests come back, so do we guaranteed.
Common Questions
Can I just spray it at night?
Wall-void and ground nests often have hidden secondary exits DIY attempts commonly end in multiple stings. Aerial nests near doorways are worth a professional call.
Will they rebuild next year?
Old nests aren’t reused, but attractive spots get recolonized. We’ll point out prevention steps during the visit.
Bees or wasps?
We identify the species first. Honeybees are important pollinators, and whenever possible, we’ll refer you to a local beekeeper who may be able to safely relocate the colony.
We do not treat honeybees or bumblebees. Instead, we can connect you with trusted local beekeepers who may be able to safely relocate them.
Fun fact – did you know that bumble bees are the main pollinators for gourd vegetables? Their extra long proboscis (tongue) allows them to reach into the long flowers of some of our favourite vegetables.
